protip: when its snowy out and you wanna go drifting thats cool but don't do it on residential streets. you don't know how much ice is under that layer of snow and you can easily slide too far into something else. I learned this the hard way and now my front bumper is dented in

um. you can definitely drift in a front wheel drive. it's just a lot harder to sustain a front wheel drift. just because it's front wheel doesn't mean its powerslide. powerslide is when you lift the handbrake. and when you drift in a front wheel drive, the FRONT tires suffer not the REAR. I have to replace mine all the time. there is a minimal amount of stress on the rear. that includes the suspension, unless your tires are butterflied out b/c you have it lowered on cheap spings w/o a camber kit

i hope all of you guys realize that there is alot of different type of drifts, fwd is one of them. As long as your takin a corner and your sideways its drifting it. Doesnt matter how your doing it its called a drift. And for the guy thats saying that your going to ruin your rear suspension. Your a smart guy, this is definetly destroying his suspension in a really light car that has barely and weight in the back and on snow.
