Years ago, when the central bus station in Tel Aviv dropped passengers off near Neve Shaanan Street, shops and markets lined the avenue. But in 1993, a newer bus station opened up away from Neve Shaanan, relocating the station, business and neighborhood bustle.

Today, the neighborhood has revived with the influx of lower-income immigrant workers. The streets store fronts now serve the vibrant ethnic communities that have folded into contemporary Israeli society.

It's mostly not Beta Israel, but people from Sudan, who fled from the war but also economic reasons. They can get over the Egypt-Israel border by paying some smugglers.

  • They're only living there because it's the poorest part of the city. A lot of immigrants are doing useful jobs here. There's no reason to be rude about them. The ones who have a legal working visa or who have political asylum can stay. The ones who climbed over the border, without legal entry, will eventually leave. Although if there children were born here, I think it is more complicated

  • @CharlesDilkes I see all this as the proof for the population reduction they plan. I cannot see any other valid reason for destroying the western civilization that way.

  • where is the hashish

  • Karma is a bitch ol

  • LMAO

    that's fucking gross.

    shit skins EVERYWHERE

  • By the way, that area looks like a fuckin' shanty town.

  • Why oh why have Israelis allowed Africans into their country? Christ Almighty, can they not see what's happened in Europe? Comparisons to the USA are flawed: American towns, just like elsewhere, are ethnically defined, and that is far more protracted because of the landmass. But ultimately, unlike Israel & Europe, the USA is not ethnically defined.

  • @heckler171 Of course they're angry - the beginnings of the enormous demographic transformations that have so blighted London, Paris, Berlin and Stockholm are starting to show in Israeli towns. The Israelis have to do something before it's too late; I've seen a lot of naive interviews from left wing Israelis justifying this mass migration - but they are so clueless about the enormous societal damage these migrants have caused to Europe.

  • all the white jews r so angry lol
