Mars? I doubt it. I've had similar sightings in Riverside, California. I refer to them as "stars", and I consider them a type of "reminder" that one is being watched. However, I usually see them at night. They look like stars, but they move very slowly out of view and sometimes they are on one side of my residence, and sometimes they are on the other side. I thought it was a distant helicopter hovering in place with a very bright light in use, but maybe it is a satellite.

Its probably mars, you wouldn't be able to see a spy satellite bacuse they are too small to be seen so far away.
