The Brand New Flip Ultra HD 3rd Generation featuring image stabilization, 60 fps & 8 gigs of internal memory. I decided to shoot some test footage as I drove to get a real idea of how the image stabilization works on this new camera. So far I'm pretty impressed, the image quality is great with very little shaking. I also like the sleeker design of this new camera compared to the older models.

Leave a comment below and let me know what you think of the new Ultra HD and this footage.

Make sure to watch this in HD.

  • @BrushEntertainment im so confused on what is the right thing to buy... im taking this on road trips with my boys and there probably will be a lot of camera shaking and stuff i want to know if i should get this or the mino... help please?

  • @EricZoot I would go with the Ultra over the Mino. The Ultra can also use 3 AA batteries which makes it more versatile during road trips when you can't charge your camera.

  • I just got one today. Listed at $160 Canadian, on sale for $100. Then, when he rung it in, they had dropped the price to $80. Simple to use. Has good image. I was looking at a Conventional type of Camera, but I found that it was to hard to manipulate the controls. To small. Hands are to big!

So Cisco quit making these. I wonder if that is just a Ruse (gimmic, publicity stunt, etc.) and that they will start up again!

  • @jackpontiac52 They are officially canceling production of the Flip camera, so I've been telling people to get them while they last.

  • whats the diff between 2nd and 3rd gen?

  • Hi

How did you get it in to 60fps ? As i have just got A flip ultra Hd 3, In flip share and by selecting the (Show items in list format) the videos say 1280 x 720 30fps ? any help :(

  • So I was told to buy a video recorder because the cameras I've had don't handle bass well.. Should I get one of these? Do they handle bass well?

  • @EricZoot I recommend looking at the Toshiba Camileo S30. The quality overall is better than the flip and you can pick one up for about £100. (Not sure about dollars) It has lots of great features and looks great! I've just bought one and im very impressed. Search around on youtube and see :)

  • when you film something in portrait mode and then upload it to you tube, do you get those annoying black bars on either side of video?

  • how do you charge the camera, and does it work with macs?

  • i can tell the difference 30 fps makes every thing look stretched if the camera is looking at an object moveing fast or if your looking side was fast with the camcoder.

  • @damndj what you said is bs, its like a game, you cannot tell the difference between 30 fps and 60 fps it's just impossible

  • @RoastedLewis That is not true at all. You do realize the higher the frame rate, the more smooth a video will be? I can easily tell the difference between a video recorded in 30fps and a video in 60fps. 30fps is just not as smooth.

  • When i post the videos to youtube there not as good as some other videos that i see on youtube, the only reason that i could think of would be because i use a different video editor but it still makes no sense.
