@SuperTB4 jazz trombone is wher u can move the slide for emphasis. orchestral is mostly the jaw trick :D

I say this with respect: I liked your sound alot. I didn't really dig the mushy vibrato. Your overall sound was btw but respectfully I thought a wee bit too btw at times. All and all, very nice indeed.

very impressive, i think it sounded great. I think it is fine to use slide vibrato for this piece, but you need to work on your slide vibrato. Try to make it sound as natural as possible.

@Spdres check out the video of Joe Alessi playing the excerpt. He uses slide vibrato on the high d flat. Jaw vibrato can be pretty tricky in the high register.

by posting on youtube you have to expect comments good AND bad. you can't say, "look at me! BUT DON'T SAY ANY MEAN THINGS OR I WILL BE MAD" its the way youtube works. good performance.

You're a good player, but the slide-vibrato is killing your performance. And it's al little too loud. Dflat is too flat. You have a reasonably nice tone, and a safe pitch, though. Keep it up!
