Many people think of Universal Design for Learning as a system for making classroom and instructional materials, lectures, discussions, activities, etc., physically accessible to all students, particularly those with disabilities. But UDL also emphasizes accessibility in a much broader sense for example, by making instructional content accessible to students with different preferred learning styles, and by developing ways to engage students more fully with the course content.
