  • It's that time of year again folks!

  • I got one looking like an hyphen, so annoying! Couldn't give the Laptop back, the insurance said it's an act of god! So it is my problem :(

  • You have my Sympathies. I've learnt to live my my little dead thunderfly friend. It's been a constant companion for 2 years now ;)

  • HAhaha these things are annoying but funny.. i have one now... Why don't they seal these LCDs properly?

  • Presumably if thet sealed them up they'd overheat.

  • Yep, I learned my lesson and as soon as they appeared this year (one week period during harvesting) I boxed all my LCD screens up. I was still a little slow and got two in my screen again but fortunately they crawled out again. It's turning into a yearly battle!.

  • @DavidElfedThomas

That's because Steve Jobs said they aren't allowed in there.

  • @alyal6969 you sir are an idiot

  • same as mine

  • Yea, I have 2 squished medium sized ROACHES inside my screen, and another smaller 1 walking around in it. -.-

  • ive got one stuck in my laptop screen anyone know how much it will be to have it removed????

  • I hate these things, they like to get inside your picture frames and if that wasn't bad enough, they also get into your tv screens and I just happen to have a few stuck in my TV right now. :(

  • Same problem here....I 'm trying to train it to act like punctuation

  • I have a resolution to these little bugs, as I noticed I had one a few days ago...

Turn your laptop off and put it in a pitch black place in your house for a couple of days.. The bugs live on light and will leave the laptop if left un-used for a few days.. I covered mine with blankets on my dining room table for only 24 hours and I haven't seen him anymore.. Let's hope this works..

Just turn the laptop off and opened..

  • I have had this happen to Toshiba, Dell, Sony screens. I have an Apple MacBook Pro, my daughters have one each and I have an Apple desktop. Thunderflies have never got into these screens.

As far as I am concerned, another reason to buy Apple hardware.

  • I too have this bug in my Dell LCD display. Just one. It is as one user said. Harvesting time for the fields. So I did what a website said. Turn off the display and put a lamp near the edge. I'm trying that now to see if the bug will leave.
