As darkness falls on the rocky reefs of Cocos Island (Isla de Cocos), Costa Rica,
the hunters assemble. White tip reef sharks initially cruise alone or in small groups. As their numbers swell, so does their interest in potential prey. Tentative advances will yield to full-blown and often frenzied attacks. Countless sharks will eventually blanket the sea bottom, acting en masse to test every
possible hiding place. The sharks also benefit from the superior eye-sight of the ferocious jack, another powerful nocturnal predator.
