Benjamin Banneke (sp) had Asperger's. So did musician Glenn Gould. There is an excellent book called "My Book of Autism Heroes." I love this book and wish it had been around a generation ago.

@megamanamillion considering that some of the world's greatest thinkers show symptoms of Asperger's Syndrome (bill gates, mark zuckerberg), it seems that people on the Autistic Spectrum aren't stupid. Einstein also displayed signs of Asperger's, as well as Newton and Mozart. The severity of Autism varies, that's why there's a spectrum. "Normality" varies also, as does intelligence. And judging by your comment you seem to be on the unintelligent side.
