I grew up listening to Charles Johnson & the Revivers. I remember my Mother putting them on the stereo,playing her albums on Sat's as she scrubbed the floors. I still love them today,and have this on cd in my car. There has been a time or 2 that i had to pull off in a parking lot, I was too excited in Jesus to drive! Can still feel the Holy Ghost when I listen to it today like I could all those yrs ago!! WOOO GLORY!!

I grew up in Carbon Hill Alabama and i remember going to several Charles Johnson concerts! even as a young teen i can remember the spirt of God in this group ! I still find myself getting excited in the spirit when i here these songs!

I was privileged to meet Charles Johsnon & the Revivers in 1992/93 when Darrell Luster & his brother Ricky were in the group. I will tell you that not only can they sing, but they were really awesome people. The concert was awesome along with the fellowship afterwards at my aunt & uncle's house with Charles Johnson, Ricky, Darrell, & the drummer Jack.

I think we all need 2 let the spirit get all up n us. It is pure nasty, its really dirty. Jump, scream, do back flips, bust guitars all over stage & let God move up n ya. I love it. When it gets on me, I get crazy, I probably scare some folks. Its really strong on me now. Its not a toy. God is real. U better let him get his spirit n u 2 do his work & its fun.
