@TimeSplitter64 it helps if you are white or have family or both. You will do really good if you are lying backstabing whore rat, garranteed to make 100k , especially if you are a lazt hump. but if your an honest hard working , mind your business kind of guy this isnt for you. you will get laid off alot and regret you took the 5 years of your life to learn this trade.
oh yes thats kool, i was told by a somine that sheet metal workers get really good pay, and i just enjoy the type of work, like im good with tools and making stuff, i really think this job suits me, just gotta do more research and probally resit my maths exams lol you should ask your freind to get you a job there lol
don't worry man same here...math was always tough for me and i have a friend that does this type of work and he told me it's not a easy job and that there is alot of math involved, but the pay he get for his age is pretty good
I think the best way to get into this job is to apply for a job as a factory hand where you can work with sheet metalists or do a sheet metal apprenticship, the problem for me is i failed maths and geometry at school, and its a must to have educational qualitfications in maths and geometry... so it sucks for someone like me... i might have to learn maths again before i get a chance at this trade.
i want to do this! but im not experienced or qualified :( everyone just wants experineced workers these days...i wish someone would take me on, maybe i can find an apprentiship!
