Joan Collins was on live late-night UKTV some years ago taking phone-calls from viewers. One cheeky young man phoned in & said to her, "Hold it right there Joan, i am just whacking one off!". Joan was totally unfazed by this, smiled & said "Well do let me know when you come darling!". I was utterly gobsmacked but since then i have loved Joan even more. As god is my witness this is a true story.

Joan looks fabulous today at, what...70...but OMG, back in this era, 86, 87, she was stunningly beautiful. Not to mention poised, witty, charming and very, very funny. Love her.
