20110321 Siu Fa was coughing / choking.

My cat was coughing/choking (i don't know how to put it). And she did act normal other than such occasional choking. but after this one, she choked a little (for 1-2 secs) again when she jumped to my lap. i'll take her to the vet tomorrow morning. but anyone has any idea what happened? i've checked online. hairball, foreign objects, upper respiratory infection, etc, can all be factors.

she's fine now. it could be many things. the vet didn't rule out asthma from allergen like the sudden change in weather, humidity change, smoke, or dusts.

i tried to make sure she's not irritated easily by allergens. and get her to exercise more. now she's fine.

if u r worried, do read more about feline asthma. asthma is a consequence. it can have many causes. ruling them out isn't a easier task. i hope your cat is fine........

Mines doing the same thing only a little more intense attacks.

I'm a little worried it could be something serious.
