For amateur wrestling fans like myself this is a priceless historical momento of how men practiced the sport in our country over one hundred years ago.

GTFO YouTube and do something that DOESN'T involve a brain to do, because your stupid ass obviously doesn't have one.

This is the New York Athletic Club not YMCA. The man in white is Hugh Leonard who was William Muldoon's protege and the chief wrestling trainer at the NYAC

This was a good demonstration of pure wrestling. They did the moves well. In the 1970s, I had quite a few good matches at the YMCA in the upstate New York town where I live. By the early 80s,
the large wrestling mat next to the weight
machines was gone, The entire room had become an excercise area. Gone were the days when I could just ask guys to wrestle there. Now, it has to be all family oriented. You can still shoot hoops. But, as in colleges, wrestling gets
low or no priority.
