This is the official video for the 14th Annual Las Olas Wine & Food Festival (LOWFF) presented by Premier Beverage Company benefiting the American Lung Association (ALA) took place on May 1st (Wine Dinners) & May 2nd (Bonterra Vineyards VIP Reception, World Famous Street Festival, Allied Kitchen & Bath and Viking Culinary Range Pavilion).

The festival broke all previous attendance records of 2,200 wine and food lovers, there were no long lines to wait in plenty of food from the over 64 restaurants and wine flowing freely more than 40 tables. To be a part of the 2010 festival contact Paula Prendergast 954-524-4657.

We were thrilled with the success of the sold out festival, said Paula Prendergast, Regional Director for the ALA and LOWFF Director. It was the biggest turnout ever and we worked really hard to give the patrons the best wine and food festival money can buy! The restaurants did an unbelievable job showcasing their finest not to mention the over 300 different types of wine donated by Premier Beverage Company.

To add to the festive atmosphere, anyone on Las Olas Boulevard could attend for free the Allied Kitchen and Bath Culinary and Viking Range Pavilion live demonstrations by some of the most popular chefs in South Florida and wine makers from around the country. In addition famed artist Romero Britto autographed his official LOWFF Poster for anyone in the Culinary Pavilion.

Each block boasted something that is bound to keep patrons coming back year after year. The Bombay Sapphire Music & Mixology lounge that offered specialty cocktails that were tailored for perfect parings with fine cuisine, and white couches, a gorgeous waterfall branded with the event logo and the festival signature Asian lanterns throughout the six blocks of Las Olas Boulevard.

Special awards were handed out including, Best Food: 1st Place Winner, J Alexanders Restaurant; 2nd Place Winner: Bonefish Grill; 3rd Place Winner: The Oceanaire Seafood Room. Special recognition was also awarded in the following categories: Best Newcomer: Stellas Cupcakes, Table Appearance: We Take the Cake, Staff Friendliness: Tijuana Flats Sunrise, Best Desert: We Take the Cake, Best Smoothie: Tropical Smoothie Café.
