Was waiting to see the kid buzz your nuts off on the way out!

No, I use someone else's kid. They're expendable.

I use to mess around with these little strimmer engines as a kid, I dreamed of making a little outboard like this, but never had the prop. Nice to see it in use

A smaller prop is needed if more power is not achievable

@stuart18100 Agreed Stuart. Having trouble locating something suitable but I'm looking at cropping the existing prop(s). Have a look at "Weedeater Boat Project Phase2". It gets along a bit better with two motors, but the inflatable is too blunt. I've built a planing hull which should appear as "...Phase3" before too long. Still looking for some props...

@LyonsdenNZ cropping should be a last resort, sometimes it can have an undesired affect. Usually bad balance on the prop leading to violent vibrations. If you crop maybe consider not reducing the diameter, instead reduce the width of each blade, that can result in better balance but still less resistance for the motor so it can rev higher

@stuart18100 Thanks for that. I'll try doing it that way if I can't find a couple of more suitable props. Cheers.

@PBKiteboarding . Fun to do as well! "Weedeater Boat Project Phase2" was even more fun, and funnier to watch. Sort of doing donuts on the water. The 3rd phase is not far away!
