7 people are classless idiots.

Let us know when you acquire half the credentials in investigative journalism that Bob has.

@dopemcee A black guy created the spike, and Costas approved of the spike. And one of the most ridiculous images was of a white guy. Considering the sheer number of black players in the nfl, especially in receiving positions, they're obviously going to be well-represented in a video like this.

@Nellss89 Costas is pointing out how ridiculous it has gotten. A guy wrote something on his undershirt for gods sake. Also, the league has changed and the players do it despite the repercussions for their team, as if they care more about the celebration than the win.

Listen at the end of the day football is s game, google game" the word FUN" is mention , google what the NFL of sports in general is for ," ENTERTAINMENT for our fans,,and what are these td dances and taunts doing, bringing entertainment for our fans , TD dances are history started way back why change history and complain now , why are fools like Costas complaining, and if the taunt other players its even better it fires up the player they taunting yet bringing more competition yet also etertai

@flipgood89 Ummm did you happen to miss Tony Scheffler @ :49? Everything isn't race related. Some things are stupid related. Over the top celebrations falls in the latter category. It's unprofessional and takes away from the overall team effort to get the score. My coach used to say, when you win, act like you've won before...and like you will win again!

Bob Costas is not amused.

So proud of Bob for making this announcement. The comments you all have posted just re-affirm his comments on our culture.

Typical. Where's his rant about the violence of the game?
-
it's not pretty, but it's the evolution of what he once found acceptable.
Does this sentiment, regardless of its veracity, ever not sound like a cry of frustration from an old person just coming to grips with the fact that the world has moved on without him?
