We don't teach our children anything , school does, tv does the system has control over us. think about it, we eat what ever it's advertize, why not look for organic foods, many people don't even know how real milk taste like, why? we need to educate our kids but first we need to know where we came from to make a change cause this world is so fake
I have to disagree. If what you were saying were true, than every child that walked out of the same school would be the same. But they're not. TV/society/etc. does have an effect, but nothing like the effect of a parent (or lack thereof).
Evolution has put very real chemical reactions in our minds that are associated with our caregivers. Countless studies show this effect. And the right parenting (active or passive) will teach a child how to react to/process TV and the world around them.
