Things to know before packing for a carry-on luggage on your flight. With the new TSA rules please know what you are allowed to have before going through security. This is a quick tutorial to share what you need and what the rules are for liquids (i.e. shampoo, hairspray, etc...).

Hope you find this helpful.

  • Can you bring powder make up too? How many oz? Do u need to put it in there too?

  • @Jathalie97 For power this does not need to be limited to oz. It is just liquid products that need to be 3 or less oz. I do recommend if you plan on bringing powder to put in a clear zip lock just in case. The safe you are the better!

  • what about eyeshadow? or pure powder (like face powder)? Does that have to be in a clear bag?

  • @ShopAtSpicywedding Shadows and powders do not need to be in a clear bag, but as far as I handle this when doing a carry-on I put all my make-up such as liquid foundation, concealers, and eye shadows all together in a clear zip lock regardless. It just makes it easier in the packing process and make visible when going through security. Hope this helps!

  • @ilooovepink if you are doing carry-on the plane, then it has to be in a zip lock and scanned through security. if checking in luggage at the counter, then you can pack however you use. just make sure luggage does not weigh over 50lbs.

  • This helps so much! thanks!

  • Really good ideas! Very useful for holiday travel....
