@MrPlatus2000 Der Film heißt "Es war eine rauschende Ballnacht" und hatte am 15. August 1939 Premiere im UFA-Palast am Zoo in Berlin.

@mireille9656 you and me are Nazis.... they change during the centuries or better decades...nowadays the Nazis live in North America and feel superiour and kill all who do not want to obey their superiority...so history repeats and human beings will never change :-(

Brava Zarah! For me she was Garbo who could sing. Had she come to fame under a free and democratic Germany I believe she would have been one of the worlds biggest stars, like Dietrich and Garbo and would have toured the world to the end of her life. That she was blamed was stupid while others were forgiven. She was an extraordinary beauty and talent at a bad time. That was her tragedy.

Ihr R ist einfach geil. Einmal war sie in einer Sendung mit Peter Alexander, da war sie schon ältere Dame, und Peter hat sie gefragt. "Zarah, warum schminkst du dich so intensiv?" Und sie hat ihm geantwortet: "Weißt du Peterrrr, eines Tages in gewisem Alterrrr musst du dich entscheiden. Arrrrsch, oderrrr Gesicht!"
