Todd Rundgren discusses A Wizard, A True Live with WHRU

Todd Rundgren discussed his upcoming live performances of his album, "A Wizard, A True Star", with Hoftra University's FM radio station WHRU 88.7 (whru.org). Todd will be performing the album in it's entirety for the first time ever on September 6th, 2009 at the Akron Civic Theatre. There will be six more AWATS shows in the USA following the first one including a repeat in Akron on September 7th. The only show in the Tri-State area will be September 9th in Stamford CT. Other locations are Besthesda MD, Chicago IL, and Minneapolis MN. More information is available at www.AWATSlive.com and Ticketmaster.com. Todd's band includes: Jesse Gress, Greg Hawkes, Roger Powell, Prairie Prince, Bobby Strickland, and Kasim Sulton. I also am in Texas and miss Todd...he needs to know some of us here luv him with a passion and need to see regular Todd Live...we can't help who our representatives are here politically because we are vastly out numbered it seems at this "juncture" hehe..

Awesome line up. I can't make the show and am excited to learn it will be recorded and made available on DVD. So cool to see Greg Hawkes w/ the band. Will he be bringing his yuke too? Now that would be special!!!
