Jussi Koskela Ski Jumping K15

On 5th of May 2005 Jussi Koskela, the developer of Deluxe Ski Jump games, made a visit to Herttoniemi ski jumping center in Helsinki to perform his first ever jump on a real ski jumping hill.

Jussi's aim was to make a successfull jump on the Herttoniemi K15 Hill in the footsteps of the two time olympic champion Toni Nieminen who holds the hill record of 17.0 meters for that hill.

The first two jumps were mostly about just sliding down the inrun without doing the actual takeoff but on the third attempt Jussi put more effort into it and jumped mighty 10.0 meters! Jussi's hands touched the ground after the landing but it didn't bother him too much -- now he knew a lot more about ski jumping. :)

well on small hills you dont have so much time to make the style and speciali if your age is 30 (sorry Jussi).

But there is one more thing if you mean K90 or a little bit bigger its very! very! different than a K20!!! On Planica its hard to fly long because you dont have much speed and you hardly fly over the knoll, as in Harrachov you fly very high.The best for me is a K125. My fovourite hill is Garmisch Partenkirchen. Ive jumped 139m there :P

IM A jumper and its hard to jump on mini hills for me so its easier to jump on large hills. My PB is 187m from Planica 2011 on a K21 hill i jumped 19m longest!!!
