@rabbitslayer WRONG; The round will curve up and to the left (i think) based on the direction the round is spinning, before centreing again, assuming no wind and other factors..

Are you blind?! You can not hit that target with a rifle like that at125m? Even my sister cold do that!
-
@theman1114 If it is sighted in at 25 yards, it will most likely be reaching the peak of its arc around 125 yards (had to pull out the ballistic calculator for that one)
-
@rabbitslayer Actually, when you mount a scope, you are angling the barrel upwards so that it will arc the round. Yes, gravity begins working as soon as the round leaves the barrel, that is basic physics, but the bullet is rising until it reaches the peak of its arc.

Why in the heck do you sight a .50 BMG in at 25 yards....I understand using it as a starting point to get it on paper for sighting it in further out, but this is just pathetic...
-
whose brilliant idea was it to sight in at 25 yds with a .50 bmg?? FAIL.
-
who sights it in at 25 yards? ist a .50 bmg not a .22
-
@theman1114 bullets don't actually rise, they drop from the moment they leave the barrel.

FAIL

At 25m the bullet is rising to the target. Even zeroed at 100m, the bullet would be rising to meet the scopes line of site. Most bullets dont start dropping until you get out near the 200m range.
i guess it costs too much to sight in XD
