It was a fair fight. Bane outsmarted Batman, Batman was defeated.
Batman outsmarts his enemies, does this mean Batman has an unfair advantage in all his fights?

So if bane broke his back, why didn't he just finish Batman off?

@pachekin24 Because he is freakin' exhausted. Before Bane attacked him, Batman was busy, imprisoning all super-villains, who Bane released from Arkham earlier - to put Batman to a test. So when Bruce returned home, hoping of rest, he was attacked by Bane. Clearly, it was not a fair fight.
Not to mention, Batman had some kinda health problems at that time (that's why doctor Kinsolving was phoning to him).

@hitsugaya448899 He gets caught in the middle of a psychic dual between two ppl (his physical theropist and someone else if i remember right) or something to that effect and the resulting surge of energy repairs his spine and he later returns to being Batman.

so what happens after that after hes broken does he get fix cuz i love batman but never read about him much soooooooo like does he ge better and fight bane again??

This story line showed just how great Bruce Wayne is because it showed how many things had to happened before he could be broken. All of the fights leading up to this one showed the true depths of his strength in even in his greatest defeat his will still wouldn't let him quit. classic
"The Dark Knight Rises" has a lot to live up to.
