  • I think that such heavy iron aircraft epitomizes the energy of man..to not just accept his fate as

wingless creatures. No these are balls to the wall kind of guys. I think it is all of our fantacies to

move up from our pipers and cessnas for one such flight.

  • Amen!

  • how old was hoover when he was pulling those g's

I saw his routine at momouth county airport in NJ many years ago and he was just totally amazing..

  • John Bagley owns/flys Ol Yeller these days. I too was privledged to witness Mr. Hoovers airshow routine a few times.

  • Yea well I got to ride in it for 45 min. in Ion were it is based out of

  • bagley really is a ggod guy i know him personally and he has always been helpful with info. and always kind and respectful to others

  • big bossman is a well built aircraft. i was lucky enough to see it up close.

  • I used to love watching Bob Hoover in Ole Yeller. Of all the people in the world to buy that plane why an arrogant prick like John Bagley?

  • You're dead right Bob. The citizens of the UK deserve a complete Government funded Cold-War era line up (Vulcan, Victor, Valiant, Lightning) on high-alert....so when the Klaxon sounds...you are treated to the display of a century.

I know...i'm dreaming but wouldn't it be lovely?

    Ditto Concorde :)

  • True, but they have only got the Vulcan up and running on donations. My quibble is that the Gov can't be arsed to pay something towards its upkeep, like 50% of the costs.

They used to own it, it did a great job for them in helping prevent a stupid nuclear war. I think they owe it to the aircraft.
