It is suprising that this version is not as well known as the string version, as this is so powerful even with just four players. Truly stunning.
This is the most sensible version I ever heared. May I know who is the quartet playing?

This is absolutely amazing, I like it better than the Adagio for Strings with the entire string orchestra. It sounds more poignant and authentic somehow
