I never hear these people talk about helping or caring for the children until I bring up the real issues. Money is the main priority within the system, then maybe, the children's welfare falls in somewhere. But, definitely not first.

I heard a coworker ask another about becoming a foster parent. The first response was that you can get $900/month for a therapeutic child. How's that for marketing? In Oklahoma, that $900 subsidy is just a portion of the true dollar amount that revolves within the system. Of which, that money comes straight from our taxes.

EXPOSE EXPOSE EXPOSE. I have prrof that they are defrauding the Government. All these programs and "case plans" are nothing more than fraud against our Government. They lie to extend the return of children to their parents; even fabricating false evidence. I think this agency needs to be overseen by another entity and cameras should be incorporated to keep them honest. Parents should recieve a "jury trial" if no abuse is present. Many laws need to be revised to protect these children's rights.

yup! We are not going to put with this baby snatching much longer. I am dedicated to exposing this agency, even after I get my child back. This agency has taken advantage of the Welfare reform act of 1996 and we as parents have a duty to protect our kids. CPS isn't going to do it - so we have to!

Hey everyone the last kid on the opening is mine. I'm so proud of her. She wants to come home and I am lobbying to make this happen. I am requesting a "grand Jury trial". Gerald has done a great job and we will be doing more in the next upcoming months.

Thank you! We are in preliminary stages of research and we have alot more to learn. We do know the statistics and Federal monies that were paid out by state. The expenses will need to be accounted for. I am working on that. CPS does have a point system and if they don't spend the "advanced" federal funds they loose the funding. They have a point system so they must get more kids into the system so they don't loose federal funds. This we do know.

Ok. I'm open to critism. We are gathering information so if you know something then why don't you share it with us all. As far as foster parents they are paid by county. We can verify the amount but that has nothing to do with the federal grants we are discussing- or haven't you noticed. Why don't you tell us all what you know because I think you might be the one lacking information. Kathleen

I'm sorry, but both of you are straight-up nuts. You don't know the first thing about how the money works, or how much foster parents get paid, or anything else. All you need are your little aluminum foil hats, and you'll be set.

I was told by an OJA employee that when it comes to DHS, there is a lot of bad blood there. OJA is Oklahoma Juvenile Administration. Their clients are hugely a direct result from DHS. However, as a state employee, they cannot make statements against another state agency, such as DHS, without losing their job. Conflict of interest. So, when does the "best interest of the child" become the true focus within the government? When we force it on them, because we have had enough!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
