Why are you talking about some pussy ass pathetic excuses for genres like metalcore and deathcore? This is Death Metal. The greatest genre in existence and its name should not be insulted by naming faggot bands like asking alexandria and attack attack. Bloodbath destroys both those heaping pile of shit "bands" all day, everyday.

@BioGenocideSCD Songs about epic stories shouldn't be a bad thing. Power metal is pretty gay, but there's a black metal band called Summoning that writes about Tolkien lore, and it's awesome as fuck.

Burn the Priest would be just metal i think, I hate labeling bands as such and such, but have to organize it some how.

@BioGenocideSCD Tried to get into Unearth.. So far still nothing. What would you dub Burn the Priest? I know in early years God Forbid may have been a "Metalcore" band. Don't think that is the case anymore.

I do agree in the very early years when that genre started we had good bands. Now It's just plagued with camel shit.

@Downsider24 There are very few power metal bands that are good. To be honest I like some power metal and I was only poking at stereo type. I also like some deathcore/whatevercore. I also like Lamb of God, God Forbid, Unearth and a lot of the early "metalcore" era. "Scene" haters are as bad "scene" followers.

@BioGenocideSCD What is wrong with Blind Guardian? Shouldn't really matter as long as some shitty Metalcore band is not on your list of topic. If you even hear the words Prada, Horizon... ugh...

And yes, Blind Guardian happens to a band with an entire album based off Middle Earth. Don't hate good music.
