Good grief, everybody. You're assuming that just because the movie says Papale's ex-wife was a bitch, then that's what she was. Everybody should know by now that sports movies are chock full of BS.

To drive that point home, Papale had recently played pro ball, in the WFL. And see that touchdown Papale's scoring in the video? It never happened. Look up Papale's career stats. You'll see two fumble recoveries but no touchdowns. They made up the TD just like probably a lot of other things.
