Hitler was a Chatolic and Pol Pot was a Buddhist! How can people still get this wrong?! You can say that these people were horrid people of these faiths and that they do not represent the faith, but damn you to think it makes them Atheist. That's just daft! If you can select who's a Christan or not by corrections from the holy book, you may notice that you have to cross out alot more people then these two. Another point that religious people cherrypick their faith.

@mrdancerism I'm sure there are psychos out there doing the work of god, but the danger lies with convincing otherwise sound, and logical individuals that doing "evil" for a grand purpose is justified.

@mrdancerism Religion puts itself up on a pedestal and then when you question it, it simply tries to say that anything associated with it and harm around the world is simply an outlier or simply the nature of mankind, which i must detest. Religion IS and remains one of the most destructive driving forces on our planet, it also makes otherwise good individuals do bad things. Religion also divides mankind even further than race, gender, or sexual orientation ever could.

@mrdancerism Not when doing these acts of harm are directly linked to their "belief" system, you think an Atheist smashed airplanes into the world trade center? No, someone who thought they were going to heaven did that, and they did it because they believed what they did was a good cause for their god. You have to distinguish these things, Hitler is also not a good example because in nearly all his speeches he mentions that he is doing these things for his lord. These are obvious correlations.

Humans want more from the universe than they can get. They create religions that promise to give them more than is possible. Every religion has two sides: one preaches loving subordination of self to a higher good, and one panders to the egomaniac in us all who wants to control everything. This mad side IS part of every religion and sickos are attracted by it. But decent people can separate the two and live out the more noble side--if they admit the other side is always there.

With that voice; Frank should never have entered politics or had a public job. Truly embarrassing; he has so much money from selling out, why hasn't he ever gotten help from a speech therapist? I know he's not bright (don't understand WHY other liberals can stand him!) but his voice makes him sound like his IQ is under 50. He's got to shut up, glad he's going now
