Gotta say that Raymond Manzarek plays much worst now that he did in the 60s...rather than getting better and more skilled within the decades,he sounds like his hands are frozen without any creativity at all when soloing....his organ style in the 60s was way,way better...not to mention the mediocre Vox organ samples he uses in these tours.... :(
The overall sensation feels cheap.

Not a replacement ! Ian is a conduit. It doesnt hurt he already had a vital rock-n-roll act prior , I really miss The Cult , & b-4 that Southern Death Cult

the people that think this is not IAN ASTBURY have to be inept. This exactly looks like Ian and sounds like Ian... if you do not think it looks like Ian go look at CULT shit from the album Beyond Good and Evil... this was his look at that point. As far as vocally... you just must not be listening to The Cult.

No one is replacing anyone. JIm has been dead since 1971. Why in the world would anyone tell the surviving members not to play their music. There is only one surviving Tempations and they keep playing the hits. Why should anyone tell Ray John or Robby to stop. We know Jim is dead so no one should be compared to him.

I think it would be an honor for anyone to sing Jim's music... of all candidates there have only been TWO people in the world to hold that honor and portray Jim brilliantly- Ian and Val Kilmer...
