@BrownPaperBag51 I don't think it was totally Shaq's fault. When he was a rookie, Shaq tried to grab every rebound and block every shot. His rookie season was his best in blocks and rebounds, but he also was one of the league leaders in personal fouls, including 8 foul outs and 23 other occasions of racking up 5 fouls. I think Orlando wanted him to stay out of foul trouble and advised him to ease off some of the aggressiveness so he can stay in the game longer.

@ManuelKobe Shaq schooled himself by jumping up but not putting any effort into going for the block, for fear that he would have been involved in the play. That why Robinson got posterized so much, because he didn't care, he'd always go for the block even if he knows it's futile.

@ManuelKobe Scottie just too fast and Shaq couldn't get his slow butt there in time - but he did try, so he got schooled.
Anytime you make an attempt, whether valiant or weak, to defend someone and lose, you got schooled - period!
