I assume when Sesame Street first debuted in 1969, all of the Jazzy Spies segments were in black and white. It isn't known when they colorized them all, probably by 1970 or 1972 but they didn't stay b&w for long.

mstatz, maybe you'll know where to find it or at least remember it...
the "Pssst. Hey bud. Wanna buy a number 7?" bit.
I think of it from time to time, say it myself occasionally, and I miss it.
It has to be somewhere on here, but I guess I haven't looked for it well enough.

I think by the mid 70s most middle class folks had color. I think we got our first color TV in 1972 or so. But we still kept the black and white one in the basement, so some of my viewing looked like this

i watched this back when i had the 1st 40 inch SONY TV, lol

Not me. I watched this in the 70's in glorious technicolor on a little Sony Trinitron.

SS was so creative back then

That's Grace Slick singing. She also did the singing in the Indian-raga "Count to 20" clip.

I remember watching it black and white some times.
Anyone know who's voice that is?

This one is PARTICULARLY psychedelic.....

Very creative and catchy--this is how Sesame street was before it turned into a lucrative commercial commodity.
I need the color version of this clip.
