Heroes of the UAE- Ministry of Environment and Water HQ makeover

The UAE Ministry of Environment and Water (MoEW) became the first government entity to join Leading by Example, a programme of the Heroes of the UAE campaign targeting the public sector. An audit of the building predicted that the carbon footprint (associated with energy consumption) can be reduced by up to 24% in one year with a 2.5 year pay-back period, as well as up to 44% reduction in water consumption through the use of water saving devices, with a 4 month pay-back period
