Ferrari 250 GTE

I saw this rare Ferrari 250GTE quite close to where I live. I have seen it quite a few times in my area. Just saw it while on my way home from town. Only 1000 have been built, so this is quite a rare car.

Even if all of them are in red there's only 500 on earth, the chances of seeing one in person are incredibly low. There is no way you could be tired of the 250 in red because you've never seen one to begin with. Red is a beautiful color and it can't be played out on a car in which only 500 exist, period.
Just because it seats 4 doesn't mean it's an aristocratic relic either. It's a sports car.

Ive been a nut on these cars for yrs and most of then I see are silly red, im tired of it,
250 SWB's and GTE's would be better in a BRG green, or a nice royal blue,
Or even a maroon, or wine red
not the boring rosso corsa,

The story goes that the Italian Police (Polizia) ordered 40 of these carnographic beauties to be built, but only two were made. The first one was ruined on first day of active duty, but the second was quickly requisitioned by a commissioner for personal use. You'll need £80k to get one of these 'true' Ferarris! That's how much the unsuccessful, but classically-penned BMW Z8 costed brand new.

yea, this is the only one I have ever seen. The guy just happens to live in my area. So I see this one quite often.
