@DrumHub Well, it's very unique. I've seen left-handed drummers on right-handed kits put the ride cymbal right above the hi-hat instead of a crash. I'm trying to learn to play open-handed like yourself, but it's going to be a while to get comfortable.

Very solid groovin' in-the-pocket. Dig the sound of the settings you used. Most drummers cross arms for the hi-hat but you do for the ride. Interesting, whatever works yea. You've got a lots of videos to check out.

@rhythmantic Thanks for the comment, Sal. My sticking is due to me being left-handed, but playing a right-handed kit! I was taught to play this way, and have never found it odd or strange. It's just a preference more than anything else. :)
