the album 'the empitness' is mostly the work of a poet called edgar allan poe.

alesana enhanced the poem to a unimaginable level.

i find the whole album as a riddle.

here is what i could gather.

@SPAD3VI they didnt base it on that poem alone, it was inspired by a number of his works, Annabell Lee was actually the last poem Poe ever wrote so they took that idea and basically made a story out of that, and Poe's descent into madness. It's an awesome album lol

i love how they based their story/ songs of this album from a poem called Annabel lee by Edgar Allan Poe which also is one of my favorite authors
