Horse training exercise that is teaching the horse to balance during the walk, trot, & canter using a circle. This will create balance, strength, flexibility, & coordination. Also this is the start of teaching collection! Opening the door to communication between horse and rider! :) Great warm up also!!

@Hajak93 this horse is trying very hard to fall forward and down and go through me here, I am trying to just hold my ground by moving my hands so he can't brace against the bit. My goal is to get him to follow my body! When he does lift and follow my wieght, and rhythm. You will see my hands get quiet, and the reins get a little drape. Then I go a for a little longer then stop to let him rest & pet to reward him. This is only about 30 days of training and first time in the big pasture!. Thanks!

shouldn't the horse react to your weight and where you put it rather than to the reins? since western riding is about loose reins and very small signals to the horse. no offence, though! just a question.

@444shocker This is a watch and learn video! Holding up the front end and pumping your arms with the slow rhytm that you want, untill the horse follows your body. Then break to the walk, this will lengthen the hind leg. Then stop and reward the horse with rest!! Reward the effort not the result!! and you will get where you want to be. Thanks for the question
