I have everything to get angry about with the people who started Special Olympics by joining this, and doing everything that there is to not try my best when it comes to winning, because bad sportsmanship in the Special Olympics is the right way to be!

Question: But if the days of separation and segregation are over why don't we have full inclusion? In schools and in the olympics? Are special olympics and special education not a form of segregation? Well intentioned, but still segregation.

"The days of seperation and segregation are OVER" I am a speaker for Special Olympics & I used what Eunice said as part of my speech. I was never in those institutions as I was born in the early 80s but I'll never forget the ridicule I endured during my school years. Thanks to SO I have regained my confidence & use it 2 encourage newer athletes when they 1st come into special o.She said "You are the heroes and heroines who have overcome. Go home and tell your countrymen: I AM A CHAMPION ATHLETE"
