thanks

@piemaster546 No problem. The one I suggested is a step above what they want. Nothing so fancy that it costs an arm but it should still do just fine.

@AISim Not yet. I tried the benchmark and that didn't run smoothly at all. It was jerky and wonky. I do plan on trying it before hand though. Thanks a lot btw.

@piemaster546 Okay, your motherboard has a Max TDP of 95Watts. So any AM3 CPU at or below that wattage should work. If you go to NewEgg (dot) com and search for "AMD Athlon II X3 440 Rana" that is the CPU that I'm recommending. But before you go off and buy it, have you tried to run FFXIV with your current setup?

is there anything you have to install any programs to make it run properly...like the graphics card...

@TAWEEYZZ As long as the motherboard fits the type of processor you should be okay with just plopping it in there.

what if my processer dosen't have a socket lever D: ?!

@10431567 You have to push it in place. But this went out of style in the 1990s when the lever was created to help prevent pins from being bent or a tool needed to pry the CPU off of the Mobo.
