http://live.pirillo.com - The big buzz surrounding Leopard has been about the Time Machine feature. When enabled and properly configured, it will automatically and incrementally back up everything on your Mac.

  • thanks for the vid pretty straightforward my hat off for you. However I do have a question how do you set it up specifically to store and back up final cut projects only

  • @maggiedecker5 Not really! Thanks for your tip dude. However; I was told in a forum that Time Machine wont work with flash drives, no matter how big its capacity.

  • @migueford I dont know if anyone has helped you but mine didnt either. So I right click the time machine icon and it gives you options. Pick back up or time machine preferences and you can finish the rest of the video!

  • Lol, if you have a Mac and do Control-Option-Command-8, his screen will look fine

  • Dude, Im trying to set up time machine to a 138.1GB flash drive. I follow your instructions but after creating the partition the Time Machine window asking me whether I wanna use this disk to back up never comes up. Plus the partition goes back to its original name "disk2s2" and now it wont come up on my desktop. So I unplug it and plug it back in and says that it needs to be initialized. Im stuck dude, cant figure it out, do you know how to? God bless you.. Migue

  • This is bad. Very poor production in that the hand in the screen and holding up the props doesn't cut it. Chris you can do better!

  • Awesome - I find this very useful to help set up Time Machine on my WD External Hard Drive. Thanks!

  • can i use my external 1TB drive for time machine on snow leopard andddddd just use it as a regular external drive in bootcamp for windows 7. or can i only us it for time machine when i set it up to do so please help

  • Not this one?

"Eloi, Eloi, Lama Sabachthani?" ("My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?")

You're probably referring to H. G. Wells "Time Machine" where the Eloi were the good guys and the Morlocks were the evil guys who ate the Eloi.

  • great info
