  • Fighting for the Earth was the LP I had. Man that was some really good underground shit.

  • @mykelbfa That's the LP I still have... Saw them at the California Theater. Great band!

  • I love this show. Feels like im sittng with old friends :) I have always been more interested in the underground metal groups of the 80's. Bands like Warrior, Metal Church, Lizzy Borden ect. My band is behind your show 100%

  • Just finished watching episode 1, Brother Elk. KILLER!

A few of my early metal memories:

    1. 1st metal purchase: Iron Maiden 'Killers', Scorpions 'Blackout' and Black Sabbath 'Mob Rules' from Fedmart back in 82 I believe.

    2. 1st concert: Accept opening for Saxon at the Fox Theater (1984)

    3. Working at Licorice Pizza in 1984-1985: I was able to open up a lot of albums from new unknown bands and sell concert tickets through our Ticket Master computer.

BTW, I also saw Dokken open for Triumph.

  • Hey Myself and drummer Dan Johnson are going to be in California Jan 19 thru 21st at the NAMM show.

  • Good times!
