  • I agree you need to be cautious about remote assistance, just like you would purchasing anything online. However a reputable company with a shop location cannot hide who they are, so as long as you do your due dilligence you should be fine. Plus you are fully in control at all times as you can watch everything the technician is doing and can shut down the service at any time and they cant access it again without you entering a password, so it is probably safer than you think. Choose wisely.
