I noticed filipinos are very hesitant to drink goats milk, coz according to them it has a goaty taste. I came accross a lecture commenting that saanen breed was used by us europeans because of the ability to secrete hormones that came from their coats to produce goaty smell. We definitely like the taste coz you really can smell the goat aroma. If there's no goaty taste, it's just like youre drinking a commercial powdered milk right?

If the milking area is clean with minimal smell,the goats are fed good feed ( nothing with a strong odor), the milk is cooled quickly and the buck isn't close with his odor, the milk has no goaty smell at all.I milked goats for nearly 20 years and won bets with people who said that goat milk always smells like a goat.

I noticed that you said dairy goat farming. Do you consider goat milk to be dairy? I always thought that cows milk was dairy.

I used to allegric to dairy so I would only drink soy and rice milk. I'm not allergic to dairy anymore but I perfer goat milk to dairy. My grandma had lots of goats growing up in Europe. She was lucky to have fresh goat milk where as I don't get it as often as she did.

I love goats milk and it is so nutritionally superior to cow's milk. It's great to see that goat cheese is gaining popularity in the US. Goats milk yogurt is also a great product! I love these guys!
