  • Well done, and what an interesting instrument you have.

    There are two things you might want to try. Firstly, play a little closer to the bridge, perhaps between rose and bridge, to have a better 'grip' on the strings, as you are slightly overplaying them now. Secondly, try to play the thumb with rest stroke to get a fuller bass sound. Give both a try to see if they work for you.
