Jonas Brothers Story- Catch Me Im Falling (Chapter 9)

*Nicks POV*
*I kept jogging when I saw a girl collecting something from our neighbors. She saw me and approached me. Great, soon I might be mobbed by a bunched of them. I quickly put on my sunglasses and I put my hoodie over my head hoping she wont recognized me.*
Girl: Good morning sir, may interest you into helping the community? All you need to do is put a dollar in the sack.
*Oh no, its Christy! I better [change] my voice*
Nick: Excuse me, but what charity are you working for?
Christy: I dont work, I just volunteer. This is an assignment my teacher gave me while shes in Italy. I am volunteering for the Change for the Children Foundation organized by the Jonas Brothers... or should I say those bogus, heart-breaking brothers. They really know how to make girls cry. Anyway, the money will be given to the less fortunate children all over America and this charity also helps people to be aware of the community.
*Ouch. That really hurts. Is she really this mad at me!? Wait, this might be an opportunity to find out about the promise.*
Nick: Um, why do you say they are heart-breaking?
Christy: Sorry, I dont talk about my personal life with strangers. So, are you going to help or not?
*Failure. I should just run away before she realizes who I am.*
Nick: *regular voice* Nope. Goodbye!
*I ran as fast as I could back to our house. Did I use my own voice!? Oh, great.*
*Christys POV*
Nick: Nope. Goodbye!
*He ran away and I went back home. Wait a minute, I recognized that voice! Oh man. He was too close to knowing about the promise! He should find out himself! Oh, I wish I didnt say he was bogus. No, he deserved it! No, he doesnt. Does he? Never mind. I sat on the couch and counted the money I have collected. 20 dollars for this morning. I put it on the box of the money I collected last week. Now its about 500 dollars. I looked at the time, its 8am. Oh no! Im gonna miss my all time favorite TV show!*
