I gotta say, I really like the sound you're getting now on the test video and now this. Honestly... I wasn't sure if it was the 230 or the 2020 that I was hearing before that ... well ... something sounded like a soft yet slammed and almost a warm gritty sound.

That sound is now TOTALLY gone, yet it's still in your face on the average, without sounding forced at all. I think that's the right track Mark. Keep up the good work, and the new lights look nice btw.

We had some re-calibrating to do on the Aphex 2020, which is now about 90% there. I'm also using the new FireStudio, which seems to have better (but very touchy) A/D's.

I think you were hearing an odd-order harmonic. I also was pushing the FireStudio inputs too hard. As a result, we got wacky artifacts when going from H.264 to Flash.
