All over the Internet today, atheists, agnostics and other skeptics of the Christian faith are using the fact that there are two genealogies of Jesus in the Bible to discredit the Christian faith. But actually, these two genealogies represent an absolutely stunning fulfillment of Bible prophecy. The Messiah had to be descended through King David, the Messiah could not be of the cursed line of King Jeconiah, and yet the Messiah also had to have the legal right to be the king of Israel. So how in the world could all three things be accomplished in one man?

To see how Jesus fulfilled all three criteria, just watch the video. The truth is that God always fulfills Bible prophecy to the letter and skeptics of Christianity are always wrong.

  • To be honest, I don't even know why the geneology of Joseph is mentioned. What does it matter?

  • hahahahah mental hoops

  • do you people actually read the bible? Matthew 1:1–17 Luke 3:23-38 both genealogies mention SHEALTIEL SON OF JECHONIA! even then it mentions NATAN! , IT MENTIONS SHEALTIEL! its there it right freaking THERE!

  • Great video! Joseph's tribal name covered his wife and son(who was not an illegitimate child thus even the angels told Joseph not to divorce her). However Joseph's bloodline was cursed by Jechonia thus if his child were to be Messiah his child would have to be NOT ONLY of his tribe, Judah, but also of another BLOOD of David and Mary was so. Jesus then is THE Son of God(God's body), a son of Adam(human), a legitimate son of Abraham(Jewish), and a CHOSEN son of David(heir to the throne).

  • @faledeia1 Nah..........

  • @classicrockrockz Line of Kings or bloodline they should have the same genealogy,

how can he be from the line of King Solomon in Mathew and in Luke he is from Nathan Descended who is Solomon brother. it's like say the you are son of your father and your uncle at same time, there is no way!

  • I have my own theory. The book of Matthew is a line of kings and rulers while the book of Luke is a bloodline (either of Joseph or Mary)

  • It's refreshing when people read the scriptures in the proper context. All too many read them as if they were "English Books" but they were NOT. And also, they read them according to their OWN understanding and not of the Understanding of those that had written it.

    Bravo!

  • Jesus freed us from the comdemnation of the law. We are not free from its requirements. If the law could be done away with there would be no need for God to come to this planet as a man and die for us.

Jesus said, It is easier for heaven and earth to pass away than for my Word to fail. Until heaven and earth pass away not one dot or crossing of a t of the law will disappear.

Both covenants were made to Israel. You must become a Jew(a son of Abraham) to be saved.

  • According to biblical tradition accepted by the Catholics Joachim is the father of Mary. It is in the apocryphal book of James. He has been canonised; Saint Joachim. It is also recorded in the Koran. This is not confirmed in the Bible - but then the bible doesn't confirm He-Li as the father, either. It all seems a bit of a flimsy explanation...
