The new way of doing it is Plan&Go.
It think its a lot more realistic and interesting... and fun.
So, stop being a butt-hurt faggot and go try the demo. (Also, the game is currently bugged to shit and the current patch out features a game-breaking bug, so if you are going to buy, wait for a while.)

Forget the new mechanics. What pisses me off is that after all this time, it's the same story. The. Same. Story. It's been 13 years, and the world has changed so much that you could have done a "ripped from headlines" game. You couldn't even be bothered to rip off one of the old mods, like Urban Chaos. There's nothing about this that makes me want to spend money. I hope this game at least succeeds in creating a new generation of JA fans, but I'll just reboot the original JA2.

There should be an option to change the 3D portraits into the old ones ( Like in Starcraft 2 , only they're still shots ) I like the plan& go and I'll probably buy it but plz, do change those portraits.
