Did anyone on here watch the documentary on Egyptian trash collectors has they have been recycling 80% of the trash they collect & now big Italian garbage companies are taking away the Egyptian trash collectors livelihood? The Italian recycle hardly any of it. Heather Rogers what a beautiful trash talker serious she is.
It doesn't address the problem. listen to what Heather is saying. Industry has not only created but actively engineered the problem. The only viable solution is that industry mend their ways.
That's actually still done in some countries, I don't see why we as a country can't do that. I mean even sorting different recyclables, compost and garbage seems to be too much for some people. Freecycle is awesome for reusing things, I love it! It doesn't really take up that much time if you have the different containers right there, then all you do is toss it in the correct container and bam! You've done something to help. How hard is that? Sorting trash to reuse is a simple but great idea!
She's right. I sometimes sit and stare at my bag of trash and can't believe that I've bought into this system. I know that individually I can do nothing.
The nation's oldest and largest broad-based industrial trade association, represents 14000 companies in every industrial sector in every state . yup thats a bit of a monster all right
I have always thought that we should throw our garbage out our house and car windows so that we could actually see the amount of garbage we produce.
I also thought it would be a good idea to leave all the excess packaging at the store where we buy it. If we did this the store would force the manufactures to stop over packaging their products.
